About A. L. Rook

Hello and nice to meet you! This is the dreaded biography section where I share a little about myself, but I’d much rather talk about book boyfriends or the characters living rent-free in my head than myself! (100% awkward introvert here!) 

I’m a newbie indie author, but I’ve been writing and dreaming of being an author for as long as I can remember. My favorite genres are fantasy and all things romance. I plan to write across all romance sub-genres, from paranormal and urban fantasy romance, to fantasy romance, mafia romance, contemporary romance, dark romance, you name it. 

My favorite part of reading (& writing, of course), is the characters. I want to be invested in these characters and feel like they’re real. I want to laugh with them. Cry with them. And fall in love with them.
